So, next in line for this little... Ordeal.

We have

who requested a shot of a tiger!

A surprising adaptation, a tigers stripes and orange coloration actually provide very efficient camouflage in the dappled light of the tropical forests, the bare branches of the frozen Siberian forests and the vertically-oriented grassland of it's various habitats.
If a tiger moves very slowly or remains motionless, it can not be seen by its prey when under cover of grass or foliage, even when only thirty or forty feet away.
Some biologists believe the stripe adaptation is actually an elongation of the spots common to coats of many feline species. You can see on this shot of Anala, the Bengal tiger here that some of her stripes have a sort of hollow center, which is where this theory began.
... Oh, about the title.

Well, Anala is an awesome diva of the Franklin Park Zoo, Boston MA. I thought it fitting to associate her with another awesome diva.

Now please, everyone, help me sing along, if you will.

And the tiger is lovely
And those stripes really are cool!
And yeah, Anala luckily does provide a good example of the stripe patterns that prompted the theory.
And you really are very kind, my dear.
And You're welcome.
