You might have heard on the news, but there was a big snowstorm that hit the Northeast this past weekend. I personally went home to help my parents dig themselves out of it. All three of us worked from 8 am to 6 pm on Saturday and 8 am to 6pm on Sunday, but we eventually cleared out all 36 inches of snow.
Oh yeah. In central Connecticut where my folks live, we got hit with the most of the snow. There were plenty of sore muscles and backaches among the three of us. (Thank goodness for the snowblower and the truck with the plow, even though it started leaking hydraulic fluid and only worked about 25% of the time)
And there were plenty of hot drinks... And room-temperature scotch. xD
And thank you. In spite of a total of 60 hours of snow-removal labor between the 3 of us, there was a beautiful sunset on the first day.
That said, it's a beautiful shot.

And it was tough!
