The ancient Mayan's believed that if you looked a wild jaguar dead in the eyes, your soul would explode in a thousand shattering pieces.
But that wouldn't be the end of your demise, because your shattered soul then re-implodes, re-assembles and then bursts apart in shattering pieces again, and again, and again, and again.
This happens two thousand and twelve times until your atoms turn to dust.

Incidentally, this is where we get the misnomer that the world is going to end in 2012. It won't.
