Fantastic capture! The bird really stands out well against the bright blue of the waters behind it.

This makes me think of wildlife calendars and other such things--which is a compliment!
*pounces on the birdie*

Yes, they do look very regal - until they get the hiccups. Hiccups and anhingas just don't mix.

It seems you were in the right place at the right time.

Though I have to wonder, from how far off did you have to take this picture so that the bird did not fly off startled?
Outstanding!!!!

I like how u captured that Anhinga, well, I can not really take pics of birds, they fly away almost all the time. And not only did u capture it, the photo is really clear that one can actually see the detail in her wings. And the background is an awsome touch and brings out the beauty of the entire shot.

She is everything to me
The unrequited dream
A song that no one sings
The unattainable, Shes a myth that I have to believe in
All I need to make it real is one more reason
I don't know what to do,I dont know what to do when she makes me sad-Slipknot-
And you don't even want to see an Anhinga with chicken pox, that is a really bad day for these guys :D
