Hello everyone!
This is going to be a short entry, mostly because I just finished an 11-hour shift (and tomorrow will probably be even longer) But I'm writing as a means of announcement, because I have big news of sorts!
Yesterday, I completed the rough draft of my 5th drafted novel; "The Maid and the Mariner." (working title
)
Not only that, but I finished this novel in record time!
I started this one back in November and I finished it before April ended.
Also, during that 6-month period, I wrote a novella.
... Still available on Amazon kindle.
But this is a bit of a milestone to me. Completing a novel so quickly is a bit of a coup for me.
My record for the longest it took me to complete a draft of a novel was about 18 months. (But then, that one was well in excess of 300,000 words. Roughly the equivalent of 900 printed pages.)
But I assure you, "The Maid and the Mariner" is considerably shorter than that.
What will become of it? I can't say... Yet. xD
Right now work is so hectic that I barely have time for the hedonistic, self-indulgent ritual I always treat myself to when I complete a draft of a novel. But I'll be sure to take time for some rest... Now I sure won't need any sedatives to hop on the train to sleepytown.

Meanwhile, I'm going to rest on my laurels for a little while after having completed...
